You Can't Make This Stuff Up ...

[Harriet Miers' Supreme Court nomination is] a big opportunity for those of us who have a conviction, that share an evangelical faith in Christianity, to see someone with our positions put on the court.

To make John Roberts’ faith an issue at the coming Senate confirmation hearings would not only be wrong, but a big mistake.

Always depends on whose ox is being gored!

Same with all that up or down vote BS. It was a much different deal when it was a Dem president!

HOWEVER! Both sides do the same damn thing!

Jay Sekulow is a fucking loonytune. A former self-loathing Jew, a jerk, and a publicity hound. He has been on the odd end of a number of cases, and he LOVES the sound of his voice, and is like a moth to flame when he is in the limelight. Guess he has finally found his way and an opportunity to be a pundit once again with this horseshit, he was foundering for awhile after he no longer had Clinton to harass anymore.

Let the Crusade begin! This is what they call a backlash against 40 years of Liberals making us think that everything abnormal (gay rights, abortion, drug use) is normal. Liberalism isn't a mental disorder. It's a God Damn Crime....

Listen to above blogger who says "Liberalism isn't a mental disorder. It's a Goddamned crime."
Maybe this imbecille forgot that if it wasn't for "liberalism" America would never have been founded, and there subsequently would be no civil rights, social security, or even freedom of speech allowing you to proclaim to the world you lack a brain.

Republicans get practice in holding to opposing ideas on taxes. When we were in surplus, George W. Bush favored tax cuts because "people deserved to get their money back". And when we started running deficits tax cuts were needed to "stimulate the economy". Tax cuts are also indicated when it rains; or when it's dry. While people are alive; and even after they are dead.
